TrexBio Eczema Study
Researchers are assessing whether a potential new treatment can lessen the severity of eczema symptoms, strengthen the skin’s natural barrier, and provide lasting relief by targeting the underlying inflammation that causes itching and skin irritation.
If you are aged 18 to 70 years old and living with moderate-to-severe eczema that isn’t fully controlled by your current treatment, you may be eligible to take part.

Huia Eczema Study
This study is investigating a potential new medication designed to target immune pathways involved in inflammation and itch associated with atopic dermatitis (eczema).
If you are aged 18 to 65 years old, living with severe eczema and continue to experience persistent itch or skin inflammation, you may be eligible to take part.

Auckland Clinical Study
Eczema Itch: Non-Steroid Potential Medication
​
Eczema itch keeping you awake? If your current eczema meds aren’t enough, consider joining a clinical trial to test the suitability and effectiveness of a potential new, non-steroid topical medication.
​
This non-steroid option is not yet available at the pharmacy. It is hoped to potentially offer:
​
· Less itching, to help sleep and feel better
· Rapid itch relief
· A non-steroid option, with no steroid-type effects expected
​
Participants may get early access to the potential medication, receive study-related medical care at no cost, and compensation (up to $2350 NZD before tax) for completing participation. New Zealand Medicines and Medical Devices Safety Authority (MEDSAFE) and the Health and Disability Ethics Committee (HDEC) have given their approval for this study to run in New Zealand.

You might be eligible if all of the following apply to you:
​
· Aged 18 to 69 years (inclusive) 
· Diagnosed at least 6 months ago with Atopic Dermatitis (chronic eczema)
· Have persistent itching
· Aside from Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema), are in reasonably good health
· Live in Auckland or the wider Auckland region
· Other study criteria may apply
